When I adopted Kai, (my beautiful rescue greyhound), he was very stressed and it was obvious that his diet had been neglected for many years:( He had chronic digestive issues and discomfort which, after many visits to the vet and endless tests, was diagnosed as IBS. Irish Retired Greyhound Trust Fostering Centre

Last week we visited Fionnula and James in their kennels and foster care centre for retired greyhounds. They work with the Irish retired greyhound trust and help get greyhounds acclimatized to their new lives as pets with families. We do a lot of pf breeding and try to produce them to a top level. I heard it from Ann, a vet from Fethard Equine Hospital. She said to try it, and I wouldn’t be disappointed. I wasn’t disappointed with the results. One particular horse we started on it he was a completely different horse. Precision Microbes recently visited John and Gillian Ryan in their race yard in Templemore. Here are their story and trial results on PM equine. We had heard many positive stories about Precision Microbes from local farmers, and a family friend had seen great results in his horses. We carried out a trial with three complex cases in the yard. They had full workups done, and we suspected gut issues to be an underlying problem. With all three over the 6-week trials we have seen significant improvements in health. One particular mare transformed over this period. The big thing was an improvement in appetite and fewer gut issues in any horses we have used Precision Microbes on. Also all three trial horses, there was a notable change in behaviour. We definitely would recommend this product.

Michael Orlandi Compass

My vet recommended it to me for helping with foal diarrhoea to aid digestion when they were recovering. I was very skeptical, to begin with. I tried it with some foals to help their digestive systems after diarrhoea and tt worked very well on all the foals to help them recover digestive health. Then I used it on an older stallion with loose droppings. He improved straight away. I then tried it on some yearlings for sale and treated some and left some untreated. Our best sales results were the yearlings on Precision Microbes. After that, we have taken a view that all stock in the yard will be on this product as a daily feed supplement. Why because it’s a natural product and it delivers a physical result in the horse and in the sales ring.

I’ve tried many supplements and was initially worried about Precision Microbes putting Jade off her feed. Thankfully I found the opposite, and it actually is very palatable and in fact helped with her appetite. With my show horse, Jade I have seen her appetite improve but also her coat has improved. I also found it easier to keep the condition on her with minimal excess feeding. This was huge for me not to have to push her with feed, and she is not as bloated as she was prior to using PM. In 2022 in the middle of a calf scour outbreak his vet recommended he try Precision Microbes to to help with recovery. A couple of weeks ago we visited the McDermott family in Co Galway. They are an expanding dairy herd and family farm. Shane has been the chief calf rearer for the last number of years. Getting up before school and then on his return from school attends calves again. They had lots of challenges in the past and particularly in 2020 with calf scour and diarrheoa. They started like many farmers using Precision Microbes to help calves recover from scour and diarrheoa. Using a protocol of 60mls daily orally for 5-7 days. With very sick calves they would use 60mls twice daily for the first 3 days. Seeing the product working well they went to long-term feeding of 30ml daily from birth. They have seen a transformation in calf health this spring with this protocol. Like many farmers, they are looking at building new calf facilities and focused on continual improvement post-expansion. We visited Tobins farm just outside Arklow in Co Wicklow. A farm partnership milking cows since 2019. They used Precision microbes last year to support sick calves with scour. This year they have adopted a long-term feeding strategy with PM. Cryptosporidium was one of the significant challenges they saw last year. They have focused heavily on calf health this year and are being proactive in its control. They start the calves on halofuginone for 7 days. They also feed Precision microbes for the first seven days 30mls twice daily. So 8mls of halofuginone in the morning orally with 30mls of Precision microbes in the morning and evening feed. Then after seven days 30mls of Pm in the morning milk feed for the first five weeks. This is a protocol adopted now by a lot of farms. While halofuginone is very effective at reducing cryptosporidium infection pressure it can be hard on a calf’s stomach. This combination protocol is working well on many farms.

Combining Halfiuginone preventatively for the first seven days and Precision Microbes 30 mls daily for each calf. With many calves staying on the product for 30 days. The protocol we have seen working well with cryptosporidium is combining Precision Microbes with Halfiuginone. Where farmers are using Halifuginone for the first 7 days to prevent cryptosporidium. By using Precision Microbes for the first seven days 30mls twice daily to support good gut health and then going back to 30mls daily.
